About Monique Malmberg[email protected]
Monique Malmberg was born in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. She did her BA in Social Sciences at the Fontys Hogeschool Eindhoven. She did her MSc and her PhD at the Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. During her PhD she examined the effectiveness of a universal prevention program aimed at early and excessive substance use in adolescence. In addition she started a second research line on the role of personality risk factors in early adolescent substance use. In her current occupation, she is involved in various RCTs testing prevention and intervention programs that target anxiety and depression symptomatology. She spends most of her time off on her two precious kids and she is crazy about boxing.
