About Ron Scholte[email protected]
Ron Scholte studied Clinical Psychology, and did his PhD research in Developmental Psychology, at the Radboud University Nijmegen. He is associate professor in the Developmental Psychopathology dpt at the same university. Among his research interests are the role of the social context (e.g, parents, peers, school class, and group climate) on psychosocial adjustment of adolescents. Since 2011 he is managing director of the Academic Workplace Youth (Inside-Out), a collaboration of youth care institutes and the Behavioural Science Institute. In that respect he denotes much of his time in trying to bridge the gap between clinical practice and scientific research. In his personal life he loves to do sports, paint and read books. Needless to say that since the birth of his little daughter, these hobbies are all but dreams.
